Gonorrhea (urine)

Gonorrhea or gonorrhoea is a common STD. Some of the people who got this STD are not symptomatic. Most people experience burning, painful urination and abnormal discharge from the penis or vagina. Gonorrhea may affect the genital area, throat and anus. Luckily this infection is easily treated. Yearly detection helps to achieve successful treatment. If not treated in time, gonorrhea may cause infertility and chronic pelvic inflammation disease.

Positive test indicates an active infection that requires treatment with a course of antibiotics.
